Courtney joined North Curl Curl Physiotherapy after completing her Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. She is a current member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and Sports Physiotherapy Australia. Prior to moving across the Pacific, Courtney completed a bachelor’s degree in exercise science at the University of British Columbia.
She is passionate about being outdoors and in the ocean. You may have seen Courtney around the northern beaches surfing or training for triathlon and has completed Olympic and Long Course triathlons. Her specialties are treating triathlon-related injuries making her a diversely-skilled practitioner across a range of sporting disciplines.
Courtney is committed to her patient’s treatment and rehabilitation to get them back to their activities and sports. She likes nothing more than seeing them or hearing stories about her patients getting back on the road, field or in the water. Using her background in exercise science, Courtney can work with you to develop an active and realistic exercise or rehabilitation program that will get you back in action.
Outside of the clinic, Courtney has worked with all grades of the Manly Wolves AFL team as well as well as the Harbord Harlequins Rugby Union Club. She has completed her APA Sports Level 1 and Level 2 and additional training in the Sporting Shoulder, Sporting Hip and Groin and managing tendinopathy. Courtney contributes solidly to our in-clinic research and development programme with a particular focus on the management of tendinopathy
