Your best foot forward with GAITSCAN Analysis
GAITSCAN is a tool used in the assessment of lower limb biomechanics. It uses an electronic force plate that analyses areas of pressure on the foot both statically and dynamically via pressure sensors.
Results are displayed as both a 2D and 3D image and compared to the pressures experienced during gait of a ‘normal’ foot. Abnormal foot function and mechanics are common causes of pain and injury throughout the body and the GAITSCAN can identify these issues and address them through precise orthotic prescription.
Our orthotics are made to measure and are lab-tested to ensure they meet performance and comfort standards. There are a variety of orthotics that can be purchased, depending on symptoms and type of typical footwear worn, and these can include orthotics for sport, casual wear, dress wear, and those with special requirements.
