Must have something to do with their physio.... hehehe.
Our affiliation with the Manly Warringah AFC has given us many moments of pride-by-association over the years; three consecutive premierships, spectacular finals performances, and an all-round great team to work with - yesterday North Curl Curl Physio got another twang of pride after reading that the Giants represented close to half of the Top 20 list of the League's best - eight current players making the cut.
Manly Warringah hold the two best players of the league, Giants' captain Tyrone Armitage, and Brayden Fowler, and the list of team talent is heavily peppered through the remaining 18 spots.
Premier Division Head Physio Marty Cunningham was thrilled to see the boys get such a strong nod in the league.
"The way the boys have been turning up each week, Toby, myself and our team of assistant physios are all champing at the bit to get on board another stellar finals series, with a 4th consecutive comp win certainly on the cards."
(The boys are currently 4 points up at the top of the premiership ladder with only a couple of rounds left to make a difference).
Congratulations guys. You work hard, you train hard and you look after your bodies. Your recognition is certainly deserved.
